1. About these terms
These terms apply to your use of the Samuday Member app (the "App"), provided by Rayhit Technologies LLP, Jamnagar, Gujarat, India ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the App you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
2. What the App is
The App is a tool for residents and members of housing societies, apartment complexes and commercial complexes that use the Samuday platform. It lets you view announcements, book facilities, manage visitors and vehicles, raise complaints, see important contacts and maintenance dues, and receive notifications from your society. The service is provided to your society, which is our customer. Members use the App free of charge, and we do not sell anything to individual members in the App.
3. Your account
- You must give accurate information when you register, such as your name, email address and mobile number.
- You must be an adult resident or authorised member of a society that uses Samuday, or have the society's permission to use it.
- Your mobile number is your sign-in identifier. We may verify it with a one-time password (OTP), which may be delivered by WhatsApp or another channel.
- Keep your password and OTPs private. You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has accessed it.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the App for anything unlawful, or to harass, threaten or defame others;
- enter false information, impersonate anyone, or approve or request visitor entries you are not entitled to;
- upload content that is illegal, offensive or infringes someone's rights;
- attempt to access other people's data, probe or disrupt our systems, copy or reverse-engineer the App, or use automated tools against it;
- use the App to send spam or unrelated commercial messages to other members.
5. Your content and society data
Information you submit, such as complaints, bookings, visitor details, photos and vehicle details, remains yours or your society's. You give us permission to store and process it so we can run the service, and to show it to the society's administrators and other members as the features require. You are responsible for what you submit. Society administrators are responsible for how they use member information within their society.
6. Payments
The App does not process payments. Where it shows maintenance dues, a payment button opens the UPI app you choose, and you pay your society directly through the UPI network and your bank. Payments are between you and your society, and we are not a party to them and do not hold the money. Disputes about amounts or receipts must be raised with your society. We are not responsible for failed or delayed UPI transactions.
7. Notifications
With your permission, the App sends push notifications, for example for visitor check-ins and society announcements. You can turn these off in your device settings. Turning them off may mean you miss time-sensitive alerts.
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep the App running but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free service. We may update, change or discontinue features, and we may suspend maintenance windows. We may change these terms, and will update the date above. Continuing to use the App after a change means you accept it.
9. Our rights in the App
The App, its design, logo, software and content, other than your own content, belong to Rayhit Technologies LLP or its licensors. You may use the App for its intended purpose, and you get no other rights to it.
10. Suspension and ending your account
We or your society may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts others at risk. You may stop using the App at any time and can request account deletion from Profile, then Settings, then Request account deletion, or at community.rayhittechnologies.com/delete-account-request. We delete or anonymise personal data as described in our Privacy Policy, except where the law or society records require us to keep it.
11. Disclaimer
The App is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no warranty that it will meet every need or be free of errors or interruptions. The App supports society operations and is not a substitute for physical security, emergency services or professional advice.
12. Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for loss caused by events outside our control, by actions of your society or other members, or by your failure to keep your login details safe. Our total liability to you for any claim about the App is limited to the amount you paid us for the App, which is nil. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
13. Governing law and disputes
